Business and Adapting to COVID-19

adapting to covid for photography

There have been so many COVID-19 changes within the past 4 months that have been breathtakingly fast. Today, Province of Ontario enters Stage 3 of its reopening action plan. I will be making additional adjustments to business operations to accommodate to the unpredictable nature of this pandemic. This is also in consideration of the health and safety of my clients and family. Here are the adjustments I’ll be making moving forward:

Providing a Safe Photography Experience

In order to maintain alignment with the cautious reopening of the Province of Ontario during this global pandemic, certain Photography options are temporarily unavailable. During this time, all local bylaws and provincial laws regarding physical distancing and gathering limits must be adhered to at all times. Boyo Photography reserves the right to withdraw from photoshoots if its environment appears unsafe or its participants show any symptoms described by Ottawa Public Health.

Booking a Photoshoot

Your photography experience should still be fun and stress free despite the current situation. As an additional effort to accommodate the unpredictable nature of the situation, 50% security retainers for requested dates are no longer required for the duration of the pandemic. Clients can now secure their requested date by e-signing their proposed Service Agreements. This comes with the expectation that they will commit to their requested date in good faith. This approach will continuously be reassessed and revised as needed. Until further notice, Boyo Photography is limiting bookings of events with 10 or more people to a bi-weekly basis for the safety of all clients and others

Client & Photographer Interactions

As always, virtual ‘Meet & Greets’ and electronic payments continue to be part of my service to current and prospective clients. Please reach out sooner, rather than later for more details… and I look forward to hearing from you.

Until then, stay informed, stay safe, stay well.

Tsone.
